History and Philosophy
The Julienne adventure began in Bali at the end of 2018. Fresh air, unspoilt nature and good vibes. Houses built from bamboo, only natural materials everywhere. People who did good, on an island where unfortunately these standards were not respected everywhere. Indeed, snorkeling and surfing in seas infested with plastic waste made me aware of the urgency of treating ocean pollution. It was time to act. And it became very clear. Acting for our planet, by pushing my infinite love for bikinis and producing in an ethical factory with clean working conditions. Create a conscious, honest and transparent brand.
Another mission was close to my heart: to create swimsuits that would make women feel beautiful. I wanted to break the rules of an industry that only showed “perfect bikini bodies” and sexualized women. It was time to show real women. It was time to show off unretouched photos, cellulite and stretch marks. To show beautiful women proud to love their bodies as they are. It was time to celebrate self-love.
Who is behind the brand
Ecological and social commitment
All our swimsuits are made from Econyl® fabrics, regenerated nylon. It is made from waste from oceans and landfills. These include, for example, industrial plastic, fishing nets, fabric scraps or even old carpets. Econyl® is a recycled material and 100% recyclable.
A RESPONSIBLE BRAND
The fabrics are made in Italy and the production of the swimsuits is done in Portugal, guaranteeing regulated work, strict environmental standards, as well as 100% guaranteed traceability. We minimize our carbon footprint as much as possible.
MODELS FOR EVERYONE
We create swimsuit models that enhance all body shapes of every woman. It is essential that every woman can find the shape in which she will feel good and enhanced. We offer sizes from XS to XL and a range of colors to suit all tastes. Our prints are unique and created especially for our models.
