Paké
History and Philosophy
The starting point of the PAKÉ adventure is a relentless figure: Every year, more than 20,000 tons of gift paper are thrown away. And most are not recyclable because of their shiny plastic finishes. So much waste for ephemeral use!! PAKÉ was born in 2019 with the objective of offering an ethical, quality and affordable alternative. For this, PAKÉ has decided to offer a range of furoshikis, these reusable gift wrappers that come to us from Japan! The packaging offered by PAKÉ is 100% made in France, in a short supply chain, and with recycled fibers.
Who is behind the brand
Behind PAKÉ, there are 4 friends in their thirties (Coralie, Alice, Benoît and Antoine), residents of the Annecy region, and who decided to make gift wrapping an aesthetic and ethical object, reconciling environment, human and know-how. do French.

RECYCLED FIBERS
Our fabrics are 100% recycled. They are made of recycled polyester, to offer bright colors and cool patterns, and recycled cotton, for a soft touch.
100% vegan, they do not contain any animal fiber derivatives.
Polyester comes from the recycling of discarded plastic bottles. A Paké gift wrap allows you to reprocess between 2 and 4 plastic bottles, depending on its format.
Cotton comes from production scraps (pre-consumer recycling), or from recycled clothing (post-consumer recycling).
LOCAL WEAVING
PAKÉ furoshikis are woven in France. The weaving workshop respects an ethical charter which aims to relaunch “Made in France” and to relocate jobs in the sector. It also runs on 100% renewable energy, and thus drastically reduces its carbon footprint.
The manufacturing also takes place in France.
