Montlimart
History and Philosophy
Montlimart was born in 2017 with one ambition: to combine style and durability, so that you no longer have to choose. Because a patterned shirt should not hide distant production and a responsible sweater is not necessarily light brown and scratchy. With our team of enthusiasts, we offer you the opportunity to escape from the ordinary with quality pieces, produced in a reasonable manner.
Who is behind the brand
We are Charlotte & Juliette, two sisters from Saint-Pierre-Montlimart, a small village in the west of France. Passionate about clothing, we wanted to create an ethical, responsible brand, respectful of the planet and manufactured near us, with the aim of preserving our territory! We have chosen to make clothes for men, who have much less choice and often have to choose between quality and fantasy, responsibility and style. With Montlimart, no more compromises!
Ecological and social commitment
Local production – Our clothes are made by people who care about their profession and love a job well done. Each product is imagined and designed in Saint-Pierre-Montlimart. We then select the best workshops on a human scale, respecting the environment and our quality requirements. A large majority of our clothes are made in France, as are 100% of the pieces selected by Clother in our collection.
Sustainable Fabrics – We work exclusively with organic and certified cotton and recycled materials, in order to significantly reduce the carbon footprint of our clothing.
Our responsible commitment – We are not yet saving the whales, but we are trying to help the bees. Indeed, for each order placed, we commit to sponsoring 100 bees. Since our creation, we have already been able to support the creation of 10 hives (50,000 bees each) in the Nantes region. Because bees are in danger, even though they are an essential link in our biodiversity.
