History and Philosophy
The story of Zeta Shoes began in Bordeaux, France, in 2020, with the desire to deconstruct the sneaker industry, to offer a responsible and transparent alternative.
After a successful crowdfunding campaign (more than 2,700 orders), the brand is officially launching. And in 3 years, Zeta has already come a long way!
Zeta's mission is to offer vegan, recycled and recylable sneakers. Sneakers that are also comfortable, modern, and durable over time!
Who is behind the brand
Ecological and social commitment
ZÉTA SHOES offers vegan and recycled sneakers, for a carbon footprint between 50% and 60% lower than industry standards.
Vegan because the upper of the shoe is made, depending on the model, from wine waste (grape marc) or corn extracts. The result is a vegetable leather sneaker, which has nothing to envy of the style of the major brands in the sector.
Zéta sneakers are also recyclable at the end of their life. The brand has developed a partnership with the company Gebetex, so that used sneakers become green fuel. We can thus return our old pairs to the brand, to give them the end of their useful life :-)
For production, all sneakers are made in two partner workshops of the brand, located in Portugal. Family workshops, on a human scale, which have developed real expertise in the manufacture of sneakers using innovative responsible materials.
